Stark white walls and ceilings are the backdrop to a minimal and neutral palette in this dining room.

The soaring ceilings are connected back down to the ground via the wooden beam and the large scale chandelier.

Decorative touches are also kept to a minimum – just a couple of ceramic pieces – and they help maintain a simple and modern tone in the room.

Texture is introduced with a graphic pattern on the rug and in the tonal abstract artwork.

The large, dark tiles create the perfect contrast with the off-white rug. Tiles can be cold, but the rug does a wonderful job of countering that chilliness.

This dining room could have ended up being quite cold, but the wood from the ceiling beam, table and chair legs, and that rug all help to inject warmth back into the space.

  1. Hi, I love the look for this room! I was wondering where you got the Dining room table from? It is exactly what I am looking for and unable to find. Thank you in advance!

    1. Hi Ayushi, thanks for your comment! Unfortunately, the designers of this room have not revealed where the dining table is from – it’s possible that it belonged to the homeowners before they decorated the space; that’s a common reason as to why sources are missing sometimes. 🙂
