Get The Look: Neutral Boho Bedroom

This beautiful neutral bohemian style bedroom from Tina Rich is the perfect combination of boho-chic combined with a restrained neutral palette. You won’t find any crazy splashes of color in this room!

The tasseled bedspread helps keep things light and playful.

Texture is introduced into the room with the jute elements found in the pendant light and the rug, and also via the mud cloth and velvet pillows. I have a whole post on jute rugs that you should check out, if you’re thinking about incorporating one into your decor!

Sheer white curtains make the bedroom light and breezy.

The original pendant light used in this room can be found at Anthropologie. The affordable option I found is from World Market; although it isn’t the exact same shape, it’s much cheaper and is definitely in the same spirit!

I think my favorite element in this bedroom though, is the pillow style headboard. Which I recently learned is called a “french seam headboard”. I love it so much! It really softens the room and it’s quite unique – I’ve never seen anything like it! I wasn’t sure if I’d be able to find anything similar, but Target pulled through with their French Seam Linen Upholstered Headboard in the ivory color. 

The only thing I would add to this room would be a few more plants. Perhaps a faux fiddle leaf fig tree in one corner and some hanging plants here and there.

(PS: Here are some of the easiest to care for hanging plants that would look amazing in any bohemian bedroom! 🌿)
